How can I apply for insurance Contract through AlAhli Takaful?
You may visit your nearest NCB branch along with your National ID. At NCB branch you will be guided through the contract issuance process.
Do I need medical check-up to participate in the program?
The contract issuance process requires you to answer few basic health related questions. Depending upon your age, level of protection benefit and your answers to basic health questions, we may ask you go through some medical check-up. AlAhli Takaful will arrange and pay for the medical check-up.
How can I pay the regular contributions of my active contract?
All you need to do is maintain sufficient balance in your NCB account marked for deduction. AlAhli Takaful will have the due contributions deducted from your account directly
What happens if I do not pay my installment on due date?
All AlAhli Protection and Saving contracts have a built-in grace period of 70 days for payment of all due contributions from the day the first unpaid premium fell due. In the event of the non-payment of regular contribution(s) within the grace period, AlAhli Takaful will terminate your contract and credit your bank account directly with the refund amount (if payable) in light of contracts terms and conditions.
What if I participated and I did not like it/did not see the benefit?
All AlAhli Protection and Saving contracts have a built-in ‘Cooling Off’ period of 21 days from the contract issuance date. During this period, you can ask for cancellation of your contract by submitting a written cancellation request in your relevant NCB branch. Upon cancellation within cooling off period, you would get your paid contributions refunded directly into your NCB account.
Can I change my chosen investment strategy (ies) after issuance of my contract?
Yes, you can change your investment strategy (ies) at any time after contract issuance. However, first four (04) changes of investment strategies are free. If you wish to change investment strategy of your contract, please visit your NCB branch where you would be assisted through the process.
What if I want to make changes in my Contract?
You can make changes to your contract in accordance with terms and conditions of your contracts. If you wish to makes changes, please visit your NCB branch and submit a written change request (Alteration Form).
What should I do if I want to surrender my Contract?
You can surrender your Contract at any time after the cooling off period and before maturity. In order to surrender your contract, please visit your relevant NCB branch and submit a written surrender request. Upon surrender, you would receive the saving part (in light of contracts terms and conditions) of your contract directly credited into your NCB account.
What should I do if I want a partial withdrawal of savings benefit of my contract?
You can apply for a partial withdrawal of savings benefit in your contract for upto any amount given you leave behind SR 9,375 in your contract. If you wish to do a partial withdrawal, please visit your NCB branch where you would be guided through the process.
How can i know the current cash value of my contract?
You may call AlAhli Takaful Call Center (920011282) directly where you would be provided with this information upon validation of your personal & contract information.
How can i lodge a complaint with AlAhli Takaful?
If you have any complaint related to your contract, please either contact our call center (920011282) or visit NCB branch where you would be guided through the complaint process. You can also download the complaint form from the download section of our website and email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or fax () the filled and signed form to us.
How can a claim be lodged with AlAhli Takaful?
If you want to lodge a claim with AlAhli Takaful, please either call our call center (920011282) or visit NCB branch where you would be guided through the claim submission process.
What documents AlAhli Takaful needs to consider a claim?
Following are the standard set of documents that ATC requires to considers processing of a claim however, depending upon a particular claim, there might be any additional document that AlAhli Takaful might ask to process the claim;
- Complete filled & signed claim form
- Death certificate issued by Govt.
- Succession Certificate
- Copy of identification card of deceased
- Copy of police report (in case of accidental death)
- Medical report issued by the hospital/doctor that last treated the insured
